Corbin - 11 Day Old Newborn Baby Boy.

I just love this family! Anita and Josh are two of the most genuine, kind and fantastic people I have had the pleasure of meeting and their kids are just adorable! I first photographed little Charlotte (who is nearly 2 1/2 now) when she was a baby and have enjoyed watching her grow over the past couple of years. One of our original "Darling Diva's" Charlotte has a huge personality and I always love spending time with her.

With the arrival of her new baby brother Corbin, I got to do just that when he came in for his newborn portrait session. Now Charlotte thinks Corbin is simply wonderful, but on this particular day...when I wanted her to lay down next to Corbin...Charlotte did not think that was a great idea! It was kinda like when magnets repel...if I moved him an inch towards her - she moved an inch away...and gave me THAT look! You just have to laugh at the stuff kids do!

Corbin is the sweetest little man, so peaceful and snuggly and he gave me gorgeous cuddles. He was just 11 days old when he came in and an absolute treasure to work with - sleepy and happy for us to pose him just about any way we wanted to.

Aren't they just the most gorgeous family? I love these guys to bits!

Thank you Anita and Josh for trusting me with your family's memories over the past few years. You guys are both beautiful and your kids are simply adorable. I love having you as a part of our little family here.

Cheers

Christmas is a great time for Family Portraits!

It's the perfect time to get the family together and update your family portraits. I had the pleasure of meeting the Edwards Family recently and we went off to one of my favourite spots in Penrith for a fun afternoon.

Penrith Baby and Kids Market October 2010.

I always love going to the Penrith Baby and Kids Market, not only because I get to meet and chat to heaps of people or that I get to catch up with some of my previous clients...I also get to buy some great new stuff! Everyone that knows me will tell you I cannot walk by cute baby and kids stuff, and sure enough I came away with the cutest little newsboy hat from Butterfly Garden Hair (check them out girls, beautiful stuff for kids) and some new props that are going to come in really handy for our Santa's Workshop Photo Sessions.

We had our Santa"sWorkshop Promotion in full swing and had such a great response it looks like we will be having a second day on the 27th November. If you would like to book your place just give me a call on 0419 411588 or send a quick email on alicia.birch@bigpond.com.

What else....oh yes, we had a competition (as we always do) and I will be drawing that very shortly - stay tuned for the big announcement!

Thanks to everyone that dropped by the stall and had a chat, it was great to meet you!

Cheers
Alicia.

Family Portrait Session in Penrith.

I was lucky enough to photograph a great family recently and we did the session at the gorgeous Weir Reserve in Penrith. Five minutes before we were due to start the rain was absolutely belting down. We decided to give it a few minutes and the rain stopped. Mostly. But we had the most beautiful light you could ever ask for! Susan, Lester, Samantha and James were great fun to work with and we managed to create some gorgeous photos. Thanks guys, I truly had the best time, so much laughter and fun. I loved it!

Beautiful Penrith Babies!

Now I did say I had the most beautiful baby girls for photo sessions last month and I meant every word. Leah is just 4 months old and came in with her Mum and Dad, Lauren and John. Leah was so interested in everything that was going on and she spoiled me rotten by showing off her large repertoire of gorgeousness as well as her stunning green eyes!
Please meet Leah -

Isn't she just the sweetest?

Awwww, look at that smile! And those big blue eyes! Please meet Charlotte and isn't she just the sweetest little thing! Charlotte and her Mum came in a few weeks ago for a baby portrait.  She is just on 7 months old which is a great age to photograph babies, and Charlotte certainly didn't disappoint!

Charlotte didn't mind if she was wearing pearls or a feather boa, a knitted hat or posing with Lamb, she thought it was all great fun!

I loved having Charlotte here in the studio, babies are great to have around. She laughed and played and was the perfect model all round. Many thanks to Charlotte's Mum for allowing me to create some beautiful memories of this precious time in your babys' life.

Rebecca, Peter and Amelie

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely young family for a family portrait session.

Rebecca, Peter and Amelie were the winners of one of the packages I had provided to a local primary school to assist with their fundraising effort.

Off we went to Rouse Hill Regional Park, early on a hot Saturday morning. Despite the heat, we had a really fun time, with Amelie (who is the most delightful little girl) playing peek a boo from behind the trees and having an adventure on the log that crosses the creek.

Thanks to the family for a great day out and also to the school for inviting me to participate.
