It's been 3 years since our last Limited Edition Easter Bunnies mini session and due to popular demand we have brought them back for 2014!

Cute and cuddly, sweet and chocolatey. For our kid's, Easter is all about the Easter Bunny coming to visit and leaving behind a whole selection of chocolate goodness. With fluffy yellow chicks, a couple of too cute inquisitive bunnies, our gorgeous rustic red doors set, your kids will adore our Easter Egg Hunt! Dress them up in their Sunday best or deck them out in their overalls and prepare for gorgeous big smiles and happy faces.

The date for our Easter Bunnies Theme Day is the 29th March 2014, I know, I know - it's short notice right? Well, that's why we have to limit our day to just 6 sessions - 3 have already been taken so get in quick! Santa's Workshop Limited Edition Children's Portraits 2013

How quickly does a year go by? We are just a little over a week away from starting our Santa's Workshop Limited Edition Children's Portrait and we are so excited about it!

We are overwhelmed by the support that you have all given our Santa's Workshop, both in the past and again this year - we are booked solid again this year! Over the course of 4 days, 101 lucky kids will get to meet Santa and have super special Christmas portraits. Most of those kids are like family to us here and have been coming for 4 years in a row, and we have a few new faces that will have our Santa's Workshop experience for the very first time this year. 

I love that this has become a family tradition for so many of you, I love seeing your kids and families grow over time, I love the fun we all have during the event and I adore creating unique and special Santa photos with your kids. This year we have a whole new backdrop and set...and we have a few surprises for you too! I am  BURSTING with excitement over what we are doing this year...but I will not tell a soul - that's what surprises are all about!

Already we have a pre-register list for 2014 - can you believe it!! Although there is actually a list for every year until 2029 because Mistie has booked in until her daughter turns 18! Seriously though, before Christmas last year, we had enough people on our pre-register list for this year to fill 2 and a half days...we were completely full by April of this year and had to implement a Stand By list as well. I am so grateful to you all and so pleased that you love our event so very much! So, just a little reminder to put your name down on our pre-register for 2014 - those spots are filling quickly!

Thanks again to all of you, Miss Mel and I can't wait to see you and your kids and we are sure that this year will be our biggest most exciting Santa's Workshop ever!!!

Twin Boys - Hunter and Chase!

Oh these two will just steal your heart. They have the most beautiful big blue eyes and cheeky big smiles - one of them would be devastatingly cute but 2 of them? Well that just adds up to stinkin', rotten', terrible, cuteness overload!

Hunter and Chase are really special to us, we first met their Mum and Dad before they were born when we did their Maternity Session, so we have really known these guys all their lives! That feels really kinda special. They were 8 months old when they were in a few weeks ago and an absolute bundle of fun!

Two adorable little men that absolutely melt my heart every single time I see them...and who is who? Well,in the photo above Hunter is on the left and Chase is on the right....no...Chase is on the left...actually I think I had them round the right way the first time! Santa's Workshop in Penrith is a HUGE hit!

Once again Santa came to visit us for Christmas 2012 for our Santa's Workshop Portrait Sessions!

We were excited to see so many of our regular clients again  - some of them have been coming for 3 years now and it has become a family tradition! It is great to catch up with the parents and kids and see how much they have grown, particularly if we haven't seen them since the Christmas before. Some of our families have even added a new one over the past year with one mum who was due to deliver a few days before her session telling her doctor to hurry things up as she had Santa booked! Bless her! She made it with her new baby boy and we were so excited to meet him!

We also met some new kids that came for the first time and there were some magic moments there too, one little girl impressed everyone in the room with her bravery - she was so scared of Santa to start but she kept trying and eventually ended on reading a book on Santa's knee. It is moments like those that make it so worthwhile - I was so proud of her! Then we had one of our favourite families in with their little boy - these guys are always good fun and both Mum and Dad will do whatever it takes to get their little sweetheart going - well they did the BEST version of a wiggles song, complete with the dance, the little guy was on fire! He was dancing and rocking it with THE best expressions, even a high five for Santa...another one of those moments that make Santa's Workshop so very special! And it makes me realise just how lucky I am to have such wonderful clients and gorgeous kids coming in year after year.

Anyway, with the Christmas/New Year thing, I am a bit behind on blog posts...yes I know, I am always behind on blog posts...so I thought I had better get our 2012 Santa's Workshop slideshow loaded before we get to next Christmas - I know that Santa is waiting to see it!

Oh, and speaking of next Christmas (2013) we have a pre-register list and already we have 2 and a bit days booked - we only do 4 days! Looks like it will be bigger and better again in 2013 - oooh AND I almost forgot I have a new set in mind, maybe even different sets on different days - have purchased a new backdrop to get ready for it!

Our Santa’s Workshop Sessions will be held on Friday 2^nd and Saturday the 3^rd and 10^th of November 2012 in Cranebrook. The session will take 20 minutes and spaces will be limited to just 10 sessions per day. Sessions are by appointment only.

Of course you can! After your session, your portraits will be displayed in a password protected online gallery for 7 days for you to make your selection for your greeting cards. If there are other images from your child’s session that you would like, you are more than welcome to purchase them. Granddad's Garage Limited Edition Portrait Sessions

I wanted our Granddad's Garage Portrait Sessions to be every bit as special for our little boys as our Enchanted Garden is for our girls. And it was super! The boys were so terribly cute in their little old fashioned overalls and newsboy caps and they all loved our little antique car. I think their favourite part was blowing the horn - that seemed to bring a smile to all of their little faces!

We love to make our Children's Portrait Sessions interesting for the kids - if we can capture their imagination and have them interacting with the story and the set, we are always in for some great expressions and that makes for beautiful and memorable children's photographs. It's a win/win all round, the kids have a great time, the mum's love their portraits and we have a great time making the kids and mums happy - and we love doing that!

So, we had quite the story going on here and when they got in the car, I asked each of them where they were going to drive to - I had several going to McDonalds, one to Hong Kong??? and one who was headed off to Blacktown! Too cute!

Thanks to all the Mum's for coming along and bringing their adorable boys - we loved Granddad's Garage and can't wait to do it all again!

Fantastic Children's Portrait Session in Penrith.

Layne and Cooper came in for a portrait session a few weeks ago and we had a blast! These guys were fantastic fun and were like the Energizer Bunny - they just kept going and going and going! Both kids are simply gorgeous and have the best personalities - they can even sing some blast from the past '80's songs, thanks to their mum's impeccable taste in music.

Granddad's Garage Limited Edition Portrait Sessions

As a child, I adored my Grandfather's garage. It was a place of hidey holes, funny smells and home to my Pop's old HR Ute. There were so many things in there that were different and interesting and Pop would tell my brothers and I stories (some of them a little embellished) of what those tools were for and where they came from. Some of the best memories of my childhood come from the hours I spent in that garage, polishing the ute with my wonderful grandfather. He loved that car and to this day,  I can still hear his Welsh sing-song voice "Best car in Waratah, Lici! Tah-tah!"

I love those memories and when I was planning to do a Theme Day for my clients with little boys, I was inspired to do something that captured the feel of an old time garage, complete with a well loved car, dusty old crates and fantastic old tins filled with all sorts of ...well, interesting stuff ! So, we now have our Granddad's Garage Limited Edition Portrait Sessions!

We have opened up the garage, pulled the cover off Granddad's Roadster and blown the dust from the old grease and oil tins. Just like the garage you remember from when you were a child, there are oil stains on the floor and the smell of yesteryear in the air...add to that our classic bib and brace overalls, twill driving cap and corduroy pants with suspenders - all you need is your little man to make this charming portrait session complete. If you have been a part of my Theme Days in the past, you will know how much fun they are for the kids - not to mention the parents and me! I have a couple of Theme Days in the works, the first one being our Enchanted Garden Fairy Day which will be held in August and of course our super Santa's Workshop sessions again this year. Santa's Workshop was so popular last year our two days booked out! This year we will be having Santa sessions over 3 days - tentative dates are Saturday the 5th and 12th November and either Friday the 4th or 11th as we get closer I will send out more information on both sessions. If you are interested in our Santa's Workshop sessions it probably wouldn't hurt to book early to avoid disappointment - email me to be placed on Santa's List! Look out for our Maternity and Newborn Package as well, details will be sent out shortly!
